Gianluca has been teaching at South End Music School since 2017. Bringing a wealth of expertise in teaching styles for all age ranges from popular classics to rock, pop, cinematic music and jazz to name but a few..



Graduating Pianoforte at the ‘Conservatorio di Musica San Pietro a Majella’ in Naples, Italy (Where Gianluca also studied Composition) Gianluca has become highly acclaimed widely around Europe and the USA for his compositions and outstanding performances as a concert player.

Amongst his most recent achievements, was being awarded first prize at the Piano City Contest 2015 in Milan, Italy. Further to this, Gianluca co-composed a piece with a fellow Italian composer which was subsequently interpreted and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra (no less!) and published by Sony Classical.


Gianluca’s bright and charismatic persona is infectious indeed and his teaching style reflects this.

Equally comfortable teaching classically or Jazz improvisation, his wide list of teaching techniques are listed below:
