South End Music School boasts five fully air conditioned and professionally equipped teaching rooms. Everything is provided for students to arrive and study in the most comfortable environment possible, where concentration and privacy are key ingredients to successful learning.
ALL instruments and equipment - including keyboards, electric pianos, guitars and guitar amps - are provided for the lesson. However, we strongly recommend that Guitar and Violin students bring their own instrument to the lesson. Effective practice and accelerated learning techniques are best taught on a familiar stringed instrument and your tutor will explain in depth the reasons why.
The freedom to carry out regular practice is why we prefer students to own their own instrument. However, if you would like to study for a short while before purchasing an instrument or transportation of your own instrument proves occasionally impractical then a suitable instrument can be provided for your use during lessons at no extra charge (We are regrettably unable to provide Violins for student use) Students are also very welcome to use the facilities for practice free-of-charge between 10am & 12pm on certain week days by arrangement.
